Eliens created a manor in Waalre that wouldn’t be out of place in a Scottish castle. It’s complete with wall coverings, an exquisite wooden cassette ceiling, heavy curtains, tall bookcases, and as a shining focal point, the imposing fireplace surrounded by comfortable sofas and chairs. As a matter of course, there is a cellarette for the traditional after dinner drinks, with or without a cigar.
